Youth-Led Service Learning Projects

Each year we organize several youth-led service learning projects. Our purpose is threefold: 1. to support the community; 2. to give youth
the opportunity to use their creativity; and 3. to teach youth about issues in the community. The outcome is improved confidence and
the development of leadership skills, as youth witness the tangible impact they can have on their community.

Youth actively participate hands-on in each project, fostering a sense of ownership. Additionally, we feature a presenter at every project
who discusses the core issues the project aims to address or support. Over the past three years, our projects have made a positive impact
on organizations such as Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry, Bags of Hope, Batavia Apartments, CASA Kendall County, Rescued Rascals,
and Veterans Home at LaSalle.
